Combine Images into One — Free, No Upload

Join photos or screenshots into a single image: stacked, side by side, or in a grid, with an adjustable gap, margin and background. Free, browser-only, no upload.

Stacked · side by side · grid — with the gap and margin you set

Combine Images into One — Free, No Upload

Sometimes two pictures have to become one file: a before and after, a run of screenshots for a bug report, four product shots for a listing. This joins them — stacked top to bottom, side by side, or in a grid of however many columns you like — and gives you the spacing controls that decide whether the result looks deliberate or thrown together: the gap between images, the margin around the outside, and the background colour behind both, which can be transparent if you save as PNG or WebP. Images of different sizes can be scaled to match the largest or the smallest, or left exactly as they are and aligned instead. The preview is the real layout, so what you download is what you saw. One thing it deliberately is not: panorama stitching. Nothing is blended and no overlap is detected — images are placed next to each other, which is what almost everyone searching for this actually wants.

Stack, Row or Grid

Top to bottom, side by side, or a grid with the number of columns you choose. Reorder the list and the layout follows.

Gap, Margin, Background

Set the space between images and around them, and pick the colour behind — or keep it transparent in PNG and WebP.

Mismatched Sizes Handled

Scale everything to the largest or the smallest, or leave sizes alone and align them left, centre or right instead.

100% Browser-Only

No upload and no server copy. The combined image is drawn on your own device at full resolution.

!How It Works, Step by Step

1

Drop two or more images — PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG — or paste screenshots with Ctrl+V. Nothing is uploaded.

2

Choose stacked, side by side, or grid, and reorder the list with the arrows until it reads correctly.

3

Set the gap, the margin and the background colour, and decide how images of different sizes should be matched.

4

Check the preview, pick PNG, JPG or WebP, and download the combined image.

Technical FAQ

How do I combine two photos into one image?
Drop both in, choose "Side by side" for a before-and-after or "Stacked" for a vertical pair, set a gap if you want a visible divider, and download. If the two photos are different sizes, leave "Different sizes" on "Scale up to the largest" so their shared edge lines up; the smaller one is enlarged to match, keeping its aspect ratio.
Is this panorama stitching?
No, and that distinction matters. Panorama software looks for features that appear in two photographs, works out how they overlap, and blends the seam. This tool places images next to each other at the spacing you choose — nothing is detected and nothing is blended. For joining screenshots, before-and-afters, or product shots that is exactly right; for merging overlapping landscape photos into one wide vista it is not, and a dedicated panorama tool is the honest answer.
Can I put a gap or a border between the images?
Yes. The gap slider sets the space between images, the margin slider sets the border around the whole result, and both are filled with the background colour — so a white gap on a white background disappears, while a contrasting colour reads as a divider. Both go up to a few hundred pixels.
What happens when the images are different sizes?
You choose. "Scale up to the largest" matches every image to the widest one when stacking (or the tallest when going side by side). "Scale down to the smallest" does the reverse and keeps the file smaller. "Leave each as it is" changes nothing, and then the Align setting decides whether the narrower images sit left, centred or right. Aspect ratios are never distorted.
Can the background be transparent?
Yes, if you save as PNG or WebP — tick Transparent and the gaps and margins are left clear. JPG has no transparency at all, so choosing it fills the background with white instead, and the tool warns you rather than quietly producing a black border.
How many images can I combine, and how large can the result be?
Up to 30 images per batch. The finished picture is capped at 16,384 pixels on its longest side, which is the largest canvas browsers will reliably allocate; if your layout would exceed that, everything is scaled down proportionally and the tool tells you what it did rather than handing back a blank image.
Is it safe to combine private screenshots online?
Here, yes, because nothing is uploaded. The images are decoded and drawn onto a canvas inside your browser, and the result is produced on your own device. You can watch the network tab in your developer tools while you work: no request carries the pictures.

Keep the Work on Your Own Device

Every tool here runs in your browser, with no upload and no account. Here is another one worth knowing about.
