PDF to PowerPoint — One Slide per Page

The usual reason to convert a PDF to PowerPoint is to get a report, a chart, or a set of results in front of a room — or into a deck someone else already started. This does that: each page you pick is rendered in your browser and placed on its own slide, and the result is a genuine .pptx you can open, reorder, and present. The slides hold page images rather than editable text boxes. That is a deliberate limit, not an oversight: a PDF page is a finished layout with no record of what was a title or a table, so rebuilding editable shapes means guessing, and a convincing wrong guess is worse than an honest picture. Deck size follows the first page, so a portrait report becomes a portrait deck instead of being letterboxed.

A Real .pptx

Not a renamed PDF. The output is a standard PowerPoint package that opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice Impress and Google Slides.

Shape Follows the Pages

Slide size is taken from the first page, so portrait documents make portrait decks and nothing is stretched or cropped.

100% Browser-Only

No upload and no server copy. Pages are rendered and the deck is zipped together in the tab.

Free, No Watermark

No account, no slide cap, no logo stamped into a corner. Pick the render quality that suits the screen you will present on.

!How It Works, Step by Step

1

Drop a PDF. It is parsed in your browser and its page count is shown — nothing is uploaded.

2

Optionally narrow to a page range: 1-5, a single page like 3, or a list like 1,3,5-7.

3

Pick a slide image quality. Balanced suits most screens; Sharpest is for a large projector.

4

Click Convert & download .pptx. The deck is built in the tab and saved to your device.

Technical FAQ

Will the text on the slides be editable?
No. Each slide holds the page as a picture, so you can move or resize it but not retype the words on it. This is stated before you convert rather than discovered afterwards. If what you actually need is the wording, the PDF to Word tool gives you the text as editable paragraphs, and you can paste it into your own slide layout.
Is the output a real PowerPoint file?
Yes. It is a standard OOXML presentation package — content types, a theme, a slide master, a blank layout, and one slide part per page — the same structure PowerPoint writes. It opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice Impress and Google Slides.
What slide size does it use?
The aspect ratio of the first page you selected, at ten inches wide. A portrait A4 report produces a portrait deck; a landscape slide deck exported as PDF comes back landscape. Pages in the same file that are a different shape are centred and fitted rather than stretched.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. The page box takes a range like 1-5, a single page like 3, or a list like 1,3,5-7. Only those pages become slides, in that order.
Why is the file large?
Because each slide carries a rendered image of a page. Higher quality means more pixels and a bigger file. If the deck is only going on a laptop screen or into a shared document, the Smaller file setting is usually indistinguishable and a fraction of the size.
Can you convert PowerPoint to PDF as well?
Not faithfully, so we do not offer it. Rendering a .pptx correctly means reproducing PowerPoint's own layout engine — text autofit, SmartArt, charts, theme inheritance, embedded fonts — and no browser-side library does that without visible errors. Our guide at /pptx-to-pdf-online covers the free routes that do work, using PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice.
