EPUB to PDF — Your E-book as a PDF

Turn an .epub e-book into a PDF in your browser: the book’s own fonts and styles kept, chapters on new pages, a linked contents page, text you can select. Nothing is uploaded.

Preview first · the book’s own styles · selectable text · never uploaded

Your book is opened in your own browser — it is never uploaded.

The EPUB is read and laid out inside this tab, on your computer or phone, and the PDF is made by your own browser's print engine. There is no server step and no account. Opening a book also loads nothing from the internet: links inside it to outside images or fonts are removed. Check it rather than trust it: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and open a book — no request carries it.

EPUB to PDF — Your E-book as a PDF

EPUB is the standard e-book format — what most stores, libraries and Project Gutenberg-style archives hand out — and it opens in book apps but not in the places a PDF goes: a printer, a laptop without a reader app, an annotation tool, a teacher’s inbox. This converter opens the EPUB in your browser and lays the whole book out as pages: the book’s own fonts, styles and pictures kept, each chapter starting on a new page, an optional cover and a contents page whose entries are links. You see the result before you save it, and the PDF it produces has real, selectable and searchable text, not pictures of pages. One thing is worth knowing first: an EPUB has no fixed pages — its text reflows to fit whatever screen shows it — so the pages are laid out fresh for the size you choose, as any converter must do. Picture books and comics in fixed-layout EPUB keep one page per sheet. Books sold with DRM copy protection are recognised and refused; this site does not remove DRM. Everything happens on your device, and the book is never uploaded.

The Book’s Own Look

Its fonts, styles and pictures are kept. Chapters start on new pages, with an optional cover and a linked contents page.

See It Before You Save

The preview is the PDF. Pick a book-sized, A4 or Letter page and watch the layout change before you save.

Real, Searchable Text

The PDF holds actual text you can select, search and copy — not a picture of each page.

Never Uploaded

The book is opened and laid out in your browser. It is not sent anywhere, and nothing is loaded from the internet while it is open.

!How It Works, Step by Step

1

Drop the .epub file onto the page. It is opened in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

2

Choose a page size — book-sized A5, A4 or US Letter — and whether to start with the cover and a contents page.

3

Check the preview: this is exactly what the PDF will look like.

4

Click Save as PDF and choose “Save as PDF” in your browser’s print dialog.

Technical FAQ

How do I convert EPUB to PDF for free?
Drop the .epub file onto this page, choose a page size, and click Save as PDF. Your browser’s print dialog opens; choose Save as PDF as the printer and save. The book is opened and laid out in your browser, so nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and there is no limit on the size or number of books.
Will the PDF look like the e-book?
It keeps the book’s own fonts, styles and pictures, and each chapter starts on a new page. What changes is where the pages break: an EPUB has no fixed pages — the text reflows to fit each screen — so it is laid out fresh for the page size you pick. That is true of every EPUB-to-PDF converter. Fixed-layout EPUBs, such as picture books and comics, keep one page of the book per page of the PDF.
Can I select and search the text in the PDF?
Yes. The PDF is made by your browser’s print engine from the book’s actual text, so the words stay real text: you can select, copy and search them, and screen readers can read them. It is not a set of page images.
Can it convert books I bought from Kindle, Kobo or Google Play?
Not if they carry DRM copy protection, which most store-bought books do. Their chapters are encrypted and can only be opened in an app the store authorises; this site recognises that and says so rather than failing, and it does not remove DRM. Kindle files (.azw, .mobi, .kfx) are Amazon’s own format and are not EPUB at all. DRM-free EPUBs — from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, many publishers and your own exports — convert normally.
Is my book uploaded?
No. The EPUB is read from your disk and laid out inside the browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and links inside the book to outside images or fonts are removed, so opening it loads nothing from the internet either. You can check: open the developer tools, watch the Network tab while you open a book, and no request carries it.
How do I get rid of the date and web address at the top of each page?
Those are added by the browser’s print dialog, not by the book. In the print dialog, open More settings and untick Headers and footers before saving. The margins are already set for the page size you chose.
Can I just read the EPUB without converting it?
Yes — the preview on this page is a full reader: scroll through the whole book, with its pictures and styles. Nothing needs to be installed, which makes it a quick way to open an EPUB on a Windows PC or a Chromebook that has no e-book app.
Can I get the book as plain text?
Yes. Text (.txt) saves the words of every chapter in reading order, without formatting — useful for word counts, quoting, or feeding the text to another tool.
