Which file types can I combine into a PDF?

PDFGami supports existing PDF files, JPG/JPEG and PNG images, plain text (.txt), and simple code files (.py, .js, .css). DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and HTML are intentionally not supported because faithful client-side rendering requires a real Word/Excel/browser engine.

Why are DOCX and PPTX not supported?

Microsoft Word and PowerPoint rely on a dedicated layout engine to compute page breaks, fonts, and tables. No browser-side library reproduces that faithfully. Rather than silently produce a distorted PDF, PDFGami rejects these files. Use Word's built-in "Save As PDF" first, then combine the resulting PDF here.

What happens if I drop an unsupported file?

The file appears in the queue with a red border and an alert icon, and a message explains why it cannot be converted. It is automatically skipped when you click Convert; supported files in the same batch are still merged.
