Find Your Telegram Chat ID
Find the chat id of your own chat, a group or a channel for your Telegram bot: paste the bot token, press Start, and the page reads the id from Telegram. In your browser — the token never reaches this site.
Find Your Telegram Chat ID
Every Telegram bot tutorial stops at the same place: you need the chat id. It is the number the bot sends to — your own chat, a group (a negative number) or a channel (a number starting -100). The usual advice is to open a getUpdates link in your browser and dig through JSON. This page does that for you: paste the bot token, send the bot a message or press Start, and it lists the chats that have written to the bot with their ids, ready to copy. It runs in your browser and talks to Telegram directly; the token never passes through this site. When you have the id, the same page sends a test message and can set up a schedule.
